SYMPTOMS

When you create or revise a DWG file in Visio Technical and then open it in AutoCAD by Autodesk, some text blocks are truncated.

CAUSE

Some versions of AutoCAD limit the number of characters in a text block to 255 characters.

RESOLUTION

When you use Visio Technical to create or revise a drawing that you want to use in AutoCAD, create text blocks with fewer than 255 characters.
