SUMMARY
When you try to create an AutoSignature in Outlook, the Signature Picker button is dimmed and you are not able to create an AutoSignature when you compose e-mail messages.

To use Signature Picker, you cannot use Microsoft Word to edit your e-mail messages. To clear Word as your e-mail editor:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Mail Format tab.
- Under Message Format, click to clear the Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages check box.
You can now create an AutoSignature.
