SYMPTOMS

When you install Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) network address translation, Event IDs 33001 and 34001 appear in the Event Viewer application log.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

These events are simply a notification that DirectPlay Proxy is being disabled on the user interface. Disabling event logging for the network address translator does not prevent these event reports from appearing in the Event Viewer application log.
