SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to add a Speed Dial Entry in Microsoft Call Manager from a contact in the Microsoft Windows Address Book, you may experience either of the following symptoms:
- The Speed Dial Entry that you attempted to add may be blank.
- When you attempt to make a telephone call from the Look Up feature on the Phone tab, the call may not be placed, and "Unknown" may appear in the Name box.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01, a version of Microsoft Internet Explorer that includes an updated version of Microsoft Outlook Express and the Windows Address Book.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, remove Internet Explorer 5.01, and then reinstall your original version of Internet Explorer.
