On the root of the Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update CD and the Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Full Product CD, you will find a folder called "Support". The Support folder contains a collection of updates that may be required on certain operating systems or for a specific set of users who may be affected by a known issue. Before you apply the updates, read the following descriptions of the known issues and then determine whether the update applies to your specific situation.

OLE Automation Update for Errors in Non-Gregorian Calendars

This release of Automation files (version 4514) addresses an issue with using Automation to calculate dates when the current date calendar is not Gregorian. This version also includes a solution for maintaining accurate regional settings information on Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0, platforms that cannot use the Windows 2000 solution.

When a program attempts to load a corrupted picture file, Automation displays an error message, and the program continues running.

OE Fix for vCard

This release of Wab32.dll (version 5.00.3013.3100) addresses an issue that prevents Microsoft Outlook 2000 users from exporting or saving contact information to a VCF file. An earlier release of Wab32.dll (version 5.0.2919.6600) does not allow the export or save feature to work.
