OL2000: Can't Paste Pictures Into HTML Compose Notes

SYMPTOMS

When you compose a new HTML message while connected to Outlook through Microsoft Windows NT Terminal Server, you are unable to paste an image into the body of the message.

WORKAROUND

You can work around this problem by using the following steps:

  1. Open a new message in HTML format.
  2. On the Insert menu, click Picture.
  3. In the Picture dialog box, click Browse.
  4. Browse to the picture you want, and click Open.
  5. Click OK.

Your picture will appear in the body of the message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
