SUMMARY
Microsoft is no longer releasing Windows Media Technologies binary files for the Alpha platform. This includes the Windows Media Services, Windows Media Tools, and Windows Media Player.
Microsoft will still provide technical support for the existing Alpha products, but there will be no future releases of Microsoft products for the 32-bit or 64-bit Alpha platform.
