SYMPTOMS
In Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003, when you load a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 system event log that contains an Event ID 43, you see the wrong information displayed in Event Viewer.

In Windows NT 4.0, an Event ID 43 describes a possible issue with the size of the paging file. In Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003, an Event ID 43 is a problem that deals with power management, and the log displays the driver that is not allowing the system to suspend.
