Problem: I am saving a spreadsheet with Transfer Options set to Other so I can load the file into Lotus. The file contains several Round() functions. When I try to save, Multiplan emits the message, “Not a Valid Formula.”

Response: If you have a Multiplan spreadsheet that contains a Round() function, Multiplan will not convert the Round() function into a formula that Lotus can understand. The Round() function was not included among the functions that can be converted to Lotus. If the spreadsheet contains a Round() function and you save it with Transfer Options set to Other, Multiplan will give the message,“Not a Valid Formula,” which refers to the cells that contain this function. The file is still saved to a format Lotus will read, but the cells that formerly contained a Round() function will contain only the rounded value.
