Searching from Knowledge Base Search (http://support.microsoft.com/?pr=kbinfo)

  1. Under My Search is about, select All Microsoft Products.
  2. Under I want to search by, select Keyword Search using and All Words.
  3. Under My question is, use a combination of Knowledge Base keywords and search criteria. For example:
    • kbVisID600 - returns all Visual InterDev articles.
    • kbVisID600 kbDebug - returns all Visual InterDev articles that address debugging issues.
    • kbVisID600 performance - returns all Visual InterDev articles that address performance. Note that performance is not a keyword. It is simply additional criteria.
  4. Click go to run your search.

Searching from MSDN Online Support (http://support.microsoft.com/servicedesks/msdn/)

  1. In the left frame, click KB Search.
  2. Under My Search is about, select All Microsoft Products.
  3. Under I want to search by, select Keyword Search using and All Words.
