SYMPTOMS
When you print your Word document that contains a page border, the following error message may appear:
where n is the number of a section.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you use a page border color that has a non-zero Green value. This problem does not occur when the Green value of a color is set to zero (0).
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

To temporarily work around this problem, change the page border color to a different color. To do this, use one of the following methods:
Method 1: Change the Page Border to Black
- On the Format menu, click Borders and Shading.
- Click the Page Border tab.
- Change the Color box to Black and click OK.
Method 2: Change the Page Border to a Custom Color
- On the Format menu, click Borders and Shading.
- Click to select the Page Border tab.
- Click the down arrow in the Color box, and then click More Line Colors.
- On the Custom tab, click the color you want, or enter the values for the color in the Hue, Sat, Lum, Red, Green, and Blue boxes. You can drag the slider to adjust the luminosity of the currently selected color.
NOTE: Make sure that the color you select has a Green value of zero (0).
- Click OK to close the Colors dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Borders and Shading dialog box.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.
