SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Word may stop responding (hang) when you use a Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro multiple times to format a numbered or bulleted list.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
