XFOR: Dirsync Fails if the Notes Server Name Field Is Not Entered Completely

SYMPTOMS

After you perform directory synchronization (dirsync) with the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes, the process fails, and logs the following events in the application log:

Event ID 41406 - Information
Cannot locate unique entry in the Name and Address book entry for Notes Server {name_of_the_Lotus_Notes_Server}

Event ID 64034 - ERROR
Failure to locate DefltPseudoDomain in config file.


CAUSE

The Lotus Notes server name is not specified completely on the General tab of the Connector for Lotus Notes properties.

RESOLUTION

Enter the complete Notes server name as it is displayed in the Lotus Notes Address book. (For example, NOTESSRV/NOTESCERTIFIER.)

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
