OL2000: Exporting Calendar Information to PST Does Not Save Meeting Request Information

SYMPTOMS

When you copy or export calendar information to your personal folder (.pst) file, the meeting request information such as Attendee Acceptance or Status are lost. When you open a previously sent meeting request you receive the message:

Invitation has not been sent.

CAUSE

The export program does not export the state information indicating the invitation has been sent.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution or workaround to this problem.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
