Article ID: 251348

Article Last Modified on 11/9/2000

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 97 Standard Edition

This article was previously published under Q251348

SYMPTOMS

If your presentation contains more than 60 slides, and you point to Go and then click By Title on the Slide Navigation menu, you are not able to see all of the slide titles in the list that appears.

NOTE: To see the Slide Navigation menu, right-click the presentation while viewing the presentation in a slide show.

CAUSE

This is a design limitation. The viewer cannot show more than 60 slides in the By Title menu list.

WORKAROUND

If you want to go to a slide past the range being displayed in the By Title list, follow these steps:

  1. While running a slide show, right-click the slide, point to Go on the shortcut menu, and then click Slide Navigator.
  2. In the Slide titles box, click the slide that you want to go to. Then, click Go To.
