SYMPTOMS

When you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x on a computer with less than 1 MB of disk space available and you go to a site that downloads ActiveX controls to your computer, you may receive the following error message:

Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, increase the available disk space on your computer, and then return to the site with ActiveX controls.

MORE INFORMATION

The error message that appears contains incorrect text. Do not attempt to change your security settings unless increasing the available disk space does not resolve the behavior.
