SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 using the Minimal install option on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer that has no mail client, you may observe that the browser seems to enable you to send Web pages to another user by means of its E-mail feature.

For example, you browse to a page. On the File menu, you click Send, and then click Page by email or Link by email. However, instead of receiving some indication that a mail client must be installed prior to using this feature, nothing occurs.
