SUMMARY

This article describes the Modem registry key entries in the Windows 95 and Windows 98 registry.

MORE INFORMATION

Modem registry keys are stored under the following key:

For each installed modem, Windows 98 creates one registry key (starting with \0000). Each of those keys contain additional subkeys, which contain AT commands that Windows uses to initialize, dial, and answer the modem. Other entries are used for communications and modem drivers.
