SYMPTOMS

If you try to reinstall Visual J++ Server 6.0 from Microsoft BackOffice Server Setup, a dialog box is displayed with the error message:

The following applications had problems during the installation process. Visual J++ Server (ACME) Install Failed.

This is a problem with the BackOffice installation program.

To work around the problem, reinstall Visual J++ Server by running Setup.exe in the VJ_SS folder on the Visual J++ CD-ROM.
