  • Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Standard Edition

This article was previously published under Q250411

SYMPTOMS

You cannot import log files that have future dates in excess of three months of the system time on the import computer.

CAUSE

The Commerce Server 2000 Data Warehouse and the Site Server 3.0 Usage Analysis have an upper bound time limit that is equal to the system time plus three months. This is to prevent importing corrupted log files that contain hits with incorrect dates.

WORKAROUND

If you need to import a log file with future dates in excess of three months, the system time must be updated to be within three months of the dates in the log file.
