SYMPTOMS

When you try to download Windows Media Audio (.wma) files from the Internet, you may receive one or both of the following error messages:

An ActiveX control on this page is not safe.
Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. As a result, this page may not display as intended.

Error: 424
Unknown error occurred when storing your license.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if your current Internet Explorer security settings prevent the use of the ActiveX controls that are used to make the Web page display correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change your security settings in Internet Explorer to permit ActiveX controls to run.
