OL2000: (CW) Electronic Forms Designer Form Appears Behind Outlook Item

NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".


SYMPTOMS

When you switch from a standard Outlook item to an item created using Microsoft Exchange Electronic Forms Designer (EFD), use the Previous or Next commands on the View menu, and your operating system is either Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Microsoft Windows 2000, the EFD item remains in the background behind the Outlook item.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.
