SYMPTOMS
When you right-click a folder and click Delete, extensions that depend on GetSelectionItem in the case of EECMDID_FileDelete are called notifying them of the event. When the extension requests the folder be deleted, it instead gets the current folder being viewed, which is not necessarily the same. This means the extension is unable to determine what folder the user wants to delete.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
