OL2000: (CW) Message Remains In Outbox After Sending When Saved by Another User

SYMPTOMS

If you send a message on behalf of another user after that other person saved the message, the message is sent, but a copy remains in your Outbox.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.

MORE INFORMATION

Messages are not deleted from the Outbox if the messages are saved by another user and opened from their mailbox.
