SYMPTOMS
You installed Microsoft Office 2000 using the Typical Setup on Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98, but never used Outlook. You then upgraded to Microsoft Windows 2000, and started using Outlook. When you click Find, Advanced Find, or Find Public Folder on the Tools menu, Windows Installer automatically starts.
CAUSE
Windows Installer tries to repair files affected by the upgrade to Windows 2000.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
