MORE INFORMATION

To use project templates from Picture It! 99 in Picture It! 2000, you need to copy the Picture It! 99 project templates from the Picture It! 99 Disc 2 CD-ROM to the Picture It! 2000 Projects folder. To do this:

  1. Insert the Picture It! 99 Disc 2 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  2. Right-click the Start button, and then click Explore.
  3. In the left pane in Windows Explorer, double-click the CD-ROM drive icon.
  4. Double-click the Content folder.
  5. Double-click the Projects folder.
  6. If you want to copy only a specific type of template, click the appropriate folder, and then click Copy on the Edit menu.

For example, if you want to copy only the calendar templates, click the Calendar folder, and then click Copy on the Edit menu.

If you want to copy all of the Picture It! 99 templates, click Select All on the Edit menu, and then click Copy on the Edit menu.

NOTE: You need approximately 593 MB of available hard disk space to copy all of the Picture It! 99 templates to your hard disk. However, some Picture It! 99 templates are duplicates of Picture It! 2000 templates and do not take up any additional space.
  7. Open the Picture It! 2000 Projects folder. The default location of the Projects folder is:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Picture It!\Content\Projects

  8. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
  9. If you are prompted to replace the existing files and folders, click Yes to all.

After you copy the Picture It! 99 project templates to the Picture It! 2000 Projects folder, the Picture It! 99 templates are available in Picture It! 2000.
