XCON: Monthly View Gets Updated to Match the Calendar View When Polling Detects a Change

Article ID: 249566

Article Last Modified on 2/27/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Standard Edition

This article was previously published under Q249566

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, when multiple users use Outlook Web Access (OWA) to connect to the same public Calendar folder, the Monthly view can be updated to match the calendar view if polling detects a change.

For example: User1 connects to the public Calendar and is set to use the Monthly view. User1 scrolls forward to look at the upcoming month while User2 makes a change. During the next polling cycle, User1's default Monthly view switches from the original month to the month the user is viewing at the time that Exchange 2000 polls for updates.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
