SYMPTOMS

When you compose a new mail message or use the buttons in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA), and the security settings of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 are set to High, you may receive the following error message:

An ActiveX control on this page is not safe. Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. As a result this page may not display as intended.

WORKAROUND

Set the security settings to Medium when you are using Outlook Web Access.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
