SYMPTOMS

If you have a Web Archive generated MHTML frameset document and load it using the Word MHTML converter, the frame contents do not load and are empty. The following error message may appear when you open MHTML documents into Word:

The file does not exist in the path specified.

CAUSE

Web Archive uses relative URL paths for the FRAME tag. Word uses absolute paths.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

STATUS
