Article Last Modified on 10/17/2005

APPLIES TO

This article was previously published under Q248834

SYMPTOMS

When you add text boxes, other than the default, into an embedded Microsoft Graph object in a Microsoft Office 97 document and then try to edit the data in the text boxes within Microsoft Graph, the appearance of corruption can result. For example, sizing handles for the text boxes and other objects appear at various areas in the spreadsheet where no objects are located. When you move the arrow keys, an exception of type access violation (AV) or an invalid page fault (IPF) can occur.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
