SYMPTOMS
If you initiate a telephone call from within an Outlook contact, the modem dials, but a Call Status dialog box may not be displayed. As a result, you cannot switch the line to talk mode.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use the Windows Phone Dialer. Click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click Phone Dialer.
