SYMPTOMSWhen you use a computer running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with Symantec pcANYWHERE installed, you may receive the following error message (the second parameter varies):
CAUSEThis behavior can occur when the pcANYWHERE Aw-host.sys file is out of date.
RESOLUTIONUpdate Aw-host.sys. The 9.0 version of Aw-host.sys can be applied to the 8.x version of pcANYWHERE to solve this problem.
MORE INFORMATIONSymantec technical support recommends that you update the Aw-host.sys file. You can do this by upgrading version 8.x of pcANYWHERE to version 9.0; however, this file is not version dependent.
