When you attempt to use the FS2000 Aircraft Editor in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 Professional Edition, you may receive the following error message:

Fsedit caused an invalid page fault in module Mfc42.dll.

This behavior can occur if you click Save Copy As to save a component in the Panel branch of an aircraft file.

To work around this issue, click Save instead of Save Copy As to save changes you make to individual panel components.

NOTE: You can use the Save Copy As command to save a new copy of an aircraft file or to save a new copy of the entire Panel branch.
