SYMPTOMS

When you try to establish a connection to Erols Internet Services, you receive an error message that resembles one of the following:

Error 691: The computer you are dialing in to cannot establish a Dial-Up Networking connection. Check your password, and then try again.

You could not be logged on to the POP server. Please review the logon information and try again.

CAUSE

You typed your password using the wrong case. The password is case sensitive.

RESOLUTION

Retype your password using the correct combination of uppercase and lowercase characters.
