You can use the same custom dictionary settings and exclude dictionary in Outlook as you use in Microsoft Word.

To use the same features and settings that you have set in Word, you must use Word as your e-mail editor. This allows Outlook to use the exclude and custom dictionary settings from Word.

To use Word as your e-mail editor:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the E-mail tab, click to select, Use Microsoft Word as the e-mail editor.
  3. Click OK.

Outlook will now use the same exclude and custom dictionary files as Word.
