SUMMARY

You can use the same custom dictionary settings and exclude dictionary in Outlook as you use in Microsoft Word.

MORE INFORMATION

To use the same features and settings that you have set in Word, you must use Word as your e-mail editor. This allows Outlook to use the exclude and custom dictionary settings from Word.

To use Word as your e-mail editor:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Mail Format tab, click to select Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages.
  3. Click OK.

Outlook will now use the same exclude and custom dictionary files as Word.
