SUMMARY
In Word version 4.00, the Apple extended keyboard is fully supported, and has default function-key assignments for some commands. These keys can be fully customized.
In Word 3.x, all of the standard key combinations will work; however, only the following function keys are supported:

ESC Same as COMMAND+PERIOD
HELP Same as COMMAND+?
DEL+X Same as COMMAND+OPTION+F (deletes character to the right of the insertion point)
HOME Same as COMMAND+Keypad 9 (goes to beginning of document)
END Same as COMMAND+Keypad 3 (goes to end of document)
PGUP Same as Keypad 9 (moves insertion point up one page)
PGDN Same as Keypad 3 (moves insertion point down one page)
F6 Dyadic (two or more steps) move (COMMAND+OPTION+X)
F7 Dyadic copy (COMMAND+OPTION+C)
F8 Dyadic copy formatting (COMMAND+OPTION+V)
F11 Same as COMMAND+OPTION+[ (left bracket) (scroll up without moving insertion point)
F12 Same as COMMAND+OPTION+/ (forward slash) (scroll down without moving insertion point)
