After you configure your computer to use multiple monitors, the secondary monitor colors are not right and horizontal lines and black patches appear on the screen.
This behavior occurs when you use an ATI RagePro peripheral component interconnect (PCI) card as the primary video adapter and either an ATI VT4 or ATI Rage2C as the secondary video adapter on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
This behavior occurs because Windows 2000 does not support use of either the ATI VT4 or the ATI Rage2C as a secondary display adapter.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
