SYMPTOMS
When you try to publish from a UNIX server to a server running on Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT, the following error message appears:
CAUSE
UNIX is case sensitive. (For example, mypage.htm and MyPage.htm are separate and completely different files.) Windows-based operating systems are not case sensitive. (For example, mypage.htm and MyPage.htm are the same file.)
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, do the following:
- Open the Web on the UNIX server and rename the files listed in the message.
- When prompted to update hyperlinks, click Yes.
- Republish the Web to your local computer.
