BUG: Platform Builder Cannot Find Project Include Files

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to build a project, you may receive the following error:

projectname\cesysgen\sdk\inc\windbase.h(391) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pwindbas.h': No such file or directory.

CAUSE

Platform Builder version 2.12 can ignore the directory settings for a project, and therefore cannot find the project Include files.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, from the Tools menu, click Options, click Directories, and then, without editing anything, click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in Platform Builder 2.12.
