- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 1.x and 2.0

Summary:

In the Microsoft Works Word Processor module, when you print mailing labels to an ImageWriter, an extra (blank) label may print after each valid label.

This problem is most often caused by having a blank line either beneath the last line of placeholders, or as the first line in the Word Processor document. This extra blank line will cause a page break (dotted line) to appear. To remove extra blank lines beneath the placeholders, do the following:

  1. Drag the scroll box to the bottom of the scroll bar.
  2. Click in the bottom-right corner of the document window.
  3. Press the BACKSPACE key.
  4. Repeat step 3 until the cursor is on the same line as the last placeholder. If the extra space has been successfully deleted, there won’t be a page break (dotted line) at the bottom of the document.
