SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to print Avery 5167 return address labels from the Microsoft Works 2000 Word Processor, you may receive a memory overflow message from the printer, and the labels may not be printed.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
- You are printing to a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet IIIP printer.
- The address on the label is too long.
NOTE: The length of the address on the label can also depend on the font and the font size that you select.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented.
Method 1
Contact Hewlett-Packard to inquire about how to obtain and install the latest printer driver for the HP LaserJet IIIP printer.

Method 2
Reduce the length of the address on the label, either by abbreviating the road designation or state name, or by using a different font or a smaller font size.
Method 3
Reduce the print resolution.
To do this, click Print on the File menu, and then click Properties.
Method 4
Add more memory to the printer.
