SYMPTOMS
When you change the time or date values in the Date/Time tool in Control Panel, your computer reflects the changes before you click Apply or OK.

The system clock on a Windows 95-based computer may experience a cumulative loss of time.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

The computer reflects the current value when the Date/Time tool is open. If you click Cancel, the date and time changes to the original settings. If you save any files while the tool is open and you have changed the date, the files use that date for the modified field.
