SYMPTOMS
The OV/VM (PROFS) Connector may fail to correctly parse a message sent from the host to an Exchange recipient resulting in an endless loop. This will result in a mail backlog on the host system.
CAUSE
The OV/VM(PROFS) Connector received an unexpected End of File (EOF) condition while processing a message, which resulted in the endless loop.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
