SYMPTOMS
Messages arriving from a UNIX system may have an empty attachment.
Several sets of conditions must occur for this to happen. It must be a binhex message and it must have been scanned on the sending side by a virus scanner before arriving at the Exchange Server computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
