SUMMARY

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

When you run the Microsoft Access 2000 Setup program in Maintenance Mode, and you use the Remove All command, some Access 2000 files are still not removed from your computer. This article explains how to completely remove Access, and how to completely remove Microsoft Office 2000, from your computer's hard disk.

This behavior occurs because Setup does not remove any files that may be shared with other Microsoft programs.

To completely remove Office 2000

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Under Currently install programs, click Microsoft Office 2000, and then click Remove. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove Office 2000.
