SUMMARY

The Wang Image Control is part of Imaging for Windows, which ships with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. Imaging for Windows did not originally ship with Windows 95, it was a control suite that was released later. It was distributed with Windows 95 starting with OSR2. You can download Imaging for Windows from Eastman Software at the following URL:

The third-party products that are discussed in this article are manufactured by companies that are independent of Microsoft. Microsoft makes no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding the performance or reliability of these products.

This control is not for redistribution, so the control must already be present on the destination machines for any projects that use it.

The control is limited to an image with the size 18,000 pixels by 18,000 pixels. This limit has been confirmed by Eastman Software.

MORE INFORMATION

The 18,000 pixel by 18,000 pixel limit is not present in the Imaging Professional 2.0 product available from Eastman Software.
