SYMPTOMS
After you enter text into an AutoShape, the position of the object may change on the worksheet.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur when the following conditions are true:
- You draw an AutoShape near the edge of a worksheet. -and-
- You set the orientation of the text to vertical. -and-
- You select Automatic Size.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows.
