SYMPTOMS
When you use one of the products that are listed at the beginning of this article to play certain games, you may experience uncontrolled motion or random firing.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you connect the SideWinder game controller to a Diamond Monster Sound card.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, reduce the acceleration of the sound card. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Monster Sound, and then click Monster Sound.
- Click the Preferences tab.
- Move the Acceleration slider to the Min (Minimum) value.
- Click OK.
