SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, when you open a project template file (*.mpt), header, footer, and legend information may be missing.
NOTE: This problem occurs with template files created in Microsoft Project 98 and Microsoft Project 4.0 or 95.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Microsoft Project 98 does not properly read the header, footer, and legend information stored in template files.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, install Microsoft Project 98 for Windows Service Release 1 (SR-1).
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. .
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
